How many hours do I need to set aside for study each week?

All Elklan courses are externally quality assured and accredited by an OfQual regulated national Awarding Organisation. This ensures that the course and your portfolio meet the national standards of a formally recognised Awarding Organisation.

Most Elklan courses are offered at either level 2 or 3 but some are level 1 and and a few are level 4 courses. For information about the different levels click here. You gain a certain number of credits for each course (Elklan offers 3, 6, 9 or 10 credit courses). One credit represents 10 hours of study. This includes time spent within the teaching session and private study. Private study includes all discussions, reading, reflection, observations and planning as well as written work.
