The ASLTIP conference in March really embraced new technology in several ways but one which grabbed our attention was the lighting talks section. These were 10 presentations of 5 minutes which sounds easy BUT these had to be 25 slides, each with 15 seconds which moved forwards independently. We thought it might be a good place to talk about the Communication Friendly Schools Project.
I agreed to do one as I believe that the CFS work is so important, it needs as wide an audience as possible but on the day I started to wish I hadn't..... It was actually a really scary experience!
None of us did brilliantly and I won't be in any hurry to volunteer again but here it is:
