A practical training course for staff working within youth offending institutions, prisons and vulnerable situations which gives innovative advice and strategies to help young people maximise their speech, language and communication potential and access the curriculum more effectively.
What will participants receive?
A 9 credit level 2 or 3 award in ‘Speech and Language Support for Vulnerable Young People’. A portfolio of evidence will need to be submitted.

This course is available to learning support assistants, teachers, lecturers and tutors working within youth offending institutions.

* The fee will increase to £390 for courses which start after 1st January 2019.
